Accountant

Agricotech Company Ltd, maker of Booza maize flour, Booza Genius Mix porridge and Booza cassava flour, is looking for a careful and organised Accountant to join our team in Ruyenzi, Kamonyi. About the role You will keep our financial records accurate and up to date, support daily sales and purchasing, and help management make good decisions with clear numbers. Main responsibilities - Record daily sales, purchases, expenses and mobile money / bank transactions - Issue invoices and receipts using EBM (Electronic Billing Machine) and keep EBM records complete - Prepare bank and mobile money reconciliations - Track customer payments, supplier balances and petty cash - Support stock records for raw materials (maize, cassava) and finished products - Prepare monthly financial reports for management - Help prepare tax declarations (VAT, PAYE and others) and keep documents ready for RRA - Keep files organised and support internal and external audits Requirements - A2 Diploma in Accounting or Computer Science - At least 2 years of work experience in accounting or a related role - Good knowledge of EBM - Good computer skills (Excel / spreadsheets, email; accounting software is a plus) - Honest, accurate and able to keep information confidential - Good communication in Kinyarwanda; English or French is an advantage What we offer - Salary: 150,000 RWF per month - Full-time position in a growing Rwandan agri-food company - A friendly team and the chance to grow with Booza
